MessageOps at 2015 Microsoft WPC 2015: Day 1

The MessageOps team is here in Orlando for the 2015 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference and we’ve just finished Day 1. The vision for the future is set and we wanted to share it with you.

    The Overview

Satya Nadella’s keynote addressed the company’s mission, which is to “[empower] every person in

every organization to achieve more,” and explored the importance of the partnership ecosystem.

“We care about empowerment,” he says. “There is no other ecosystem that is primarily and solely built to help customers achieve greatness.”

The themes of the day? Cloud computing, collaboration, productivity, security, virtual environments and new Windows products…

“Human mobility is very core to our vision,” he says as he discusses cloud technology’s importance as part of our shifting work and life experiences.

Takeaway #1: The CSP Program is Expanding

While our customers appreciate many of Office 365’s features, we were listening closely to see how this expansion addresses the most common issues our clients have, which are:

    Complicated invoicing and billing issues

    Frustrating support

    Adoption and training gaps

Azure, EMS and CRM Online are now part of the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, which will allow us to more effectively and comprehensively transition and support our clients in using Office 365.

We are especially excited about these changes as a premier partner in Microsoft’s CSP program. MessageOps helps businesses migrate to Microsoft Cloud and serve as a single point of contact for direct billing, provisioning, management, training and support for Office 365.

Takeaway #2: HoloLens Will Change the Future

The HoloLens demonstration absolutely blew us away. Microsoft’s holographic computer works with Windows 10 to incorporate hi-def holograms into the reality of one’s physical space.

We were able to see how this new “untethered” technology is being used in space exploration, architecture and construction, universities and medicine.

Microsoft calls the experience “mixed reality” and it’s a completely new way to explore, learn and communicate that will transform the way we work in the future.

    That’s a Wrap!

It’s a wild and exciting time for technology. The way teams create, collaborate and work is changing – and Microsoft is establishing itself as a visionary leader.
